Line Dancing

Music2YourFeet
A tip from a friend in mid October of 2016 led me to join the Good Luck Road Community Center. I went promptly to the center to sign up as a senior citizen and gathered up pieces of information that would help me learn about the activities offered at the center. I was at an emotional crossroad in my life and I had to do something to pull myself out of my state of being stuck. A gold colored flyer in my packet of information caught my eye because it said "line dancing for seniors." A few days later, a Friday morning, I was at the class site and discovered Denise. As I would learn, she was just starting up these classes at the Good Luck Community Center in October, just at a point when I was ready to be opened up, to become amenable to being reshaped, to "paying attention" to something outside of me. Denise's Friday morning line dancing class was right there on that pitch in the crossroad where I stood and where I could reach out toward a different direction.
